Maya Angelou is a hard woman to describe
She is a unique woman nothing about she hides
When you first see her
Her smile and style is strong and loud
When she speaks, she makes a great sound
"Love your self before you love any one."
She would say out loud
As she proclaims her Black pride
Her wisdom is her strength
Her strength is her beauty
Her beauty is her wisdom
She is not just any black woman
To name them all would take to long
But that would be wrong
Since this poem is written only for
Maya Angelou
