Will, it ever matter
Blood for justice
Life just keeps getting sadder
Will, it ever matter
Fighting with tears
Another broken rung on the peaceful ladder
Will, it ever matter
So much information coming at once
Facts and statistics scattered
Will, it ever matter
A father, friend, bother
An emotional cloth left tattered
Will, it ever matter
Protecting the interest of a small few
From the back room nothing but laughter
Will, it ever matter
The pill of forgiveness was once sweet
Now it has turned bitter
Will, it ever matter
The names are all the same
The meaning has changed in every letter
Will, it ever matter
The counting of dollars to souls
The number just grows
When will it matter?
