TO RIGHT A WRONG

Please don’t blame me

For what my forefathers had done

For stealing members of your family

There is nothing I can do to right this wrong

Since it started so long ago

But what can I do

Should I deny my race?

Don't take part

In a white man’s hate

Since that is what they are great at

I don’t want to be apart of that

But what can I do

To accept the Black Man as a brother, a friend

To be there to the end

But what of me

To feel apart
