What matters to me
To wake up to a new day
And wiping away the nights sand from my eyes
The splash of cool water on my face
What matters to me
To hear the morning peaceful flute echoing *Om Shanti
The stillness of a waking mind
What matters to me
The drive to work
The tailgater, I just stay peacefully on cruise control
What matters to me
The many sounds of PRINCE
Forever in my playlist
What matters to me
The unconditional smile on the morning face
It is going to be a wonderful day
What matters to me
That I make the value of my day
Enjoy my work without any one in my way
What matters to me
To return home safely at the end of the day
To write another poem
