RAINBOW RED

A flash of life before my eyes
A night of sadness and regrets
Bad memory of a life gone by

Not knowing what behind the door
Friends, Lovers fall to the floor
A celebration lost forever more

Rainbow Red
Remembered today
Forgotten tomorrow

The tears numb the pain
Time heals all wounds
Love will remain the same

As political creatures placing blame
Crawling on the ground for the NRA’s loose change
Holding back progress to a newer day

It does not matter
Father, Mother, Sister, Brother
Friends and special lover
All these children fallow the same rainbow path

Rainbow Red
Here today
Gone tomorrow

The tears will dry
The wound will scar
Love will remain in the heart

If love and peace was profitable

There would be no need for memorials
