There is a story
Still not told
About a man on the street corner
Waiting for your change
So you can put him out of your mind.
He wasn’t there today.

Of a child with a lot to prove
Out to do things they weren’t meant to do
Now their name is only mentioned in prayer.

There is a story
Still not told
Of a forgotten soul
They pass you by without a word hello.
Will you see them again today?

There is a story
Still not told
Of truth that provokes anger
A story of love, from above
They just want to hear the story of selfish love.

About a heavy heart
