I WAS THERE

It was a time for us to come together
All the world would be there
To make memory that will last forever
I was there

The triumphs and tragedies
Brought us together
That was the victory
I was there

A moment of historical glory
To achieve an outstanding goal
Strive to the highest point of accomplishment
I was there

It was perfect it was positive
The only lost was those who couldn't see it all
They are the losers in these games
I was there to see it all

The cheers could be heard for miles around
A smile was on everyone face, not one frown
It was too short to make a world hole
I was there; I felt it in my soul
