TEARS OF LOVE

Love can hurt so much, bust still there is just one touch

A peck on the cheek or a little huge

Just meant to be a friend, don't let it end

The painful lies, the silent cry

The tears of love in my eyes

A sad good bye, as I look in you eyes

And wonder why, why it must hurt

Never meaning to flirt

But I should have known from the start I shouldn't have laid out my heart

If there was ever a moment that I didn't feel alone

It was when I was alone with you

Every thing was new, though it was just me and you

It was to good to be true, now I'm loosing you

And your loosing me

The painful lies, the silent cry

The tears of love in my eyes

Laying back to cry thinking of the best of times

When love maid us high, but it was just a lie

Now it is time to cry, with tears of love in my eyes

I know you will never pass again, but only as a friend

The painful lies, a sad good bye

Is there a place? was the question asked

A place for all the pain All the tears and suffering

A place for the difficult

She found it within a poem

With in the ground, in all of nature

She found it... Within the banks of a river

In a river that has gone by so long ago

As she stepped in to bathe

This river wasn't the same

She wasn't the same

This was her time of self discovery

She found the answers to her questions

She found them within herself

The joy has been found

The words still survive in her heart

Our mother's gardens still bloom

She has survived the difficult

She found it all from within

WHY?

Why am I hurting?
When the world is still turning

Why is the sun still burning?
When my heart is still yearning

Why must we understand one another?
When we don’t care for each other

Why dose pain and hate
Have to be our fate
When life and love
Should be as one

Why do we put others down?
Just to lift our selves up

Why do I let the ego in the way?
When all I wanted was Eggo waffle

If the currency was hate
Than peace and love would make us all homeless
Blood is thicker than water
Oil is thicker than mud
Why is that every problem we try to run from?

BLUE SOUND

What do I do when down?
What do I do when I hear
That blue sound

What do I do when alone?
What do I do when I hear
That blue sound

The words, the sound
Got my mind spinning around
It gets me up when down
I just can't come down

What do I do when holding you?
What do you hear when holding me?
The blue sound
Beating in my heart

What do I do when we're apart?
What do I hear in my heart?
I hear you sing the blues
I feel that blue sound

The words, the sound
Got me going around
What is my direction now?
That blue sound
Turned up or turned down
Feel that blue sound

CAN THE HEART

Can the heart
Read the mind of a lonely stranger
Can the heart
Feel the pain of a lonely stranger

Can the heart be blind?
When there is nothing to find

Can the heart be hurt?
When only the mind is hurt

Can the heart go numb?
When there is no love

Even if the heart breaks
Can joy and happiness be faked

What covers the heart's pain?
A mask or a tear
Or smile on my face
