SEEN WITH ME

Had no love on the side living alone
No one there what would happen if I died tonight
Did she find me or did I find her in this lonely world
Living a dream ever time she looks at me, not even asleep

Was the bar lowered for me, all she wanted was the simple things
She wanted no money
She wanted no expensive things
She just wanted a ring and to be seen with me

Not good enough for what I thought was the one
Just a man under glass, incase of emergency break the glass
That one never got the chance, loving friendship never last
Now I have what was the one passed, much more special than that

Did our path ever cross, where we the two ships in the dark
She wanted love from my heart
She wanted to feel kiss on the neck
She also wanted forever to be seen with me

A voice speaking the word glorious
Gave up a dream and traveled thousand miles just to see
Feeling I was needed until there was no need
Thinking all I needed was a Caribbean dream

Did I give up on love or did it give up on me
She wanted me in her dream
She wanted to be in mine
She wanted to be at my side just to be seen with me

THE HILL WE CLIMB (Inspired by the poem of Amanda Gorman)

Out from under the shadow of a never-ending ego
The light of respect in the distance can be seen
The voice of optimism is no longer a dream
Hear the echoing sounds on the streets
Passionate words of justice and peace

The hill we climb over all obstacles and lies.
The journey is long, but on the other side, we will see the dawn.

A nation is broken into pieces with unresolved emotions.
We strive to fulfill the immigrant's dream.
To see their children grow up to be free and one day lead.
Through a child's voice, ancient ancestors sing.
Songs of amazing grace as every voice will ring.

The hill we climb to a destination of new life.
A celebration of all our difference, we will find

We grow out of remembrance when tragedy makes no sense.
The pain we feel in this moment, the cure is in the journey up this hill.
As we strive for that glimmer of hope, we discover what we have always known.
With a passion for peace, this division we will defeat to one day see
America is a comforting home; it is my home; it is your home that everyone should know.

The hill we climb to find the promised land on the other side.
What was once the words of a dream is now the reality.

In Malcolm, we found an example of passion through all means.
In Marten, we found the dream of peace.
In John, we found the good trouble that will lead.
In Harriet, we found an appreciation of what it is like to be free.
Together we have found the determination we need.

The hill we climb above a land one day will shine.
Bring light to all diverse faces as we become one nation.

The fire of passion today is quenched by the satisfying waters of tomorrow.
With courage unafraid, we will defeat all this sorrow.
We must believe in this; we must believe us; we must find the trust.
Together we must have the courage to be it.

PASS ON ME

Got to have a dream beyond what I can see
Wondering what is my destiny
Life is so upsidedown got to know now

Pass on me everything I need
Peace and freedom are confusing to the uneducated mind.
Just want to live the privileged lie.

Got have a vision beyond what others believe.
Building the foundation of what makes me
Life is the music listen and turn it up loud.

Pass on me the secrets of being free
Purity and love are much more than a social activity.
Trying to understand wrong from right.

The recorded appreciation for inspiring the ego
This is not what feeds the soul.
Go inside, find that meditated sound.

FORGOTTEN DREAM

A dream is a dream
It will never come true
If we don’t believe in that dream
And if we don’t try to live that dream
It will never come true
When it is a dream we need

If we live in hate
Death will be our only fate
When hate other people’s race
When it’s our race we really hate
Because we can’t do the same
When we don’t motivate ourselves
We only hold our selves back
We shouldn’t do that
So we hate each other for that
It is easy to blame others
When you could change
And do the things that you are ment to
We are destroying a dream

Because we don’t try to believe
In that that dream
Thank you Dr. Marten Luther King

BLACK FEDORA

The Black Fedora

Is the symbol of a dream
A symbol of my dreams
The symbol of a magical king
Symbol of my feelings

To lead me to my goals
To cover my head
From the cold

Symbol of strength
Symbol of peace we need
Symbol of a man

Dose anything he can
With the power in his hands

A symbol of a need
A need to fallow my dreams
Symbol of a lonely friend
Alone in the dark

There is magic in the Black Fedora

REALITY DREAM

In the eye of inspiration
There is a dream
A dream of beauty
A dream of a destiny
The need, the desire
I focus my prayers toward that dream
To touch, feel and hear
The inspiration of that dream
It can't be given to me
I must take the best of me
Reach out for that dream

And make it reality

SUGAR, SUGAR

Sugar, sugar umm
You caught my eye
Dissolve in my mind

Sugar, sugar umm
You caught my heart
Sweet is the flavor you are

Sugar, sugar umm
Sweeten the taste
Put a smile on my face

Sugar, sugar umm
Want to tell you I'm craving
Want to know what your maid of

Sugar, sugar umm
In my coffee, no cream
Just a little for the dream
So soft to me

Sugar, sugar umm
That flavor, that taste of love
We can mix it
To see what becomes of this
Will you share your sweetness?

Sugar, sugar umm
I got to love this
