There are times when I am sad
There are times when I am mad
So I stop and think of all the good I have

143 what does that mean to me
An expression its a feeling
It is a way of being

There are feelings I hide
There are feelings I keep deep inside
So I stop and think of words to express them
I start to write...

143 is more than a number
It is something we all hunger to hear
A feeling so unconditionally clear

There are times when I am happy
There are times when I am glad
So I stop and look past the barriers to see you
That person isn't all that bad...

143 is more than a number
Add them up they become 8
That is something great

There are times when I become quiet
There are times when I become silent
So I stop and think what these numbers mean to me
Who expressed them when I was in need...

143 is more than a number
One is for I
Four is for LOVE
Three is for YOU

Now stop to think who said that to you.

Keep that number in your mind
See it with your two eyes
In the stranger next to you
Or the person you have known your whole life

An American is a peaceful person

Americans are like a family

Caring for each other

An American is a generous person

They don't show hate

To another race

They don't lie or hide

They are a mixture of people

From the world over

They show justice to the victim

Condemn the guilty

They appreciate their children

And teach them well

Where can I find an American

Like this

Do they even exist?
